God is the eternal Creator of heaven and earth Elohim. He has no beginning and no end, and He exists independently of His creation (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2). He is holy, all-powerful (Omnipotent), all-knowing(Omniscient), and everywhere (Omnipresent). The Bible reveals Him as loving, just, merciful, faithful, and unchanging.
God has made Himself known through creation, His Word, and most perfectly through Jesus Christ his Son (John 1:18; Hebrews 1:1–3). He desires a personal relationship with every person and has provided salvation through His Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Ultimately, God is not merely a higher power but the sovereign Lord over all creation, worthy of worship, reverence, respect, obedience, and trust. He is always faithful and good. There has never evil found in Him, for righteousness and holiness is in his being.
